Are they Teflon? What's on them? Dishwasher didn't work?

Try oven cleaner, I've used that before on grimy stuff and it worked, just can't use on teflon.

I'd do it outside if can.

There are scrapers you can buy that have a single edge razor blade. One of these might do the trick.

Try using Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser. You can find it at any grocery store. Works wonders without scratching!

Hello. I use bar keepers friend.

  • Shirl Shirl on Sep 06, 2018

I’ve tried the bar keepers friend. This is baked in stuff! Not food just crud. I didn’t want to use steel wool but something more natural and not toxic! I read somewhere (?) to apply (?) and let it soak and then that would bring it back to shiny original self. But do not remember what it was. Any other ideas? Thanks

Did you try dishwasher detergent. Not regular dish soap. The stuff you put in a dish washer. I does a bang up job of many things. Make a paste if you are using the dry powder and let it sit overnight. If using the liquid just brush some on the stains and let sit overnight.

WD40 - let pans, oven grills, and almost anything baked or stuck on for 1 hour and you will see everything just lifts off . Wash in soapy warm water afterwards and they are brand new.

Get a toothpick to clean the sides and folds of the pans and this will get all the crud off there as well .

You need to soak the piece you are cleaning in WD40 for about an hour in a shallow container and keep applying the "run offs" in the tray to the piece you are cleaning . Get a non scratch scoured and gently rub it all off . It's brilliant !!
