How To Remove Wax From Glass Jars
I put my candle jars in the freezer. After they freeze, the wax easily chips out with a blunt butter knife. The remaining wax then washes out easily with hot soapy water. Be careful though... if you get too rough with the knife the glass will break.
I've always just filled with hot water to melt the wax, then pour out all of it. Wash with soapy water once all the wax is gone
Freeze it, the wax falls out
Freeze it, it separates from the glass
Put it in the freezer overnight. You should be able to scrape it out frozen.
Put water in the holder then as wax melts it sets up in the water.
