Barkeeper's Friend is often suggested. Contains oxalic acid which is very good at making rust stains disappear. You could also try CLR. The "R" is for rust.
The same toilet bowl cleaner that works in your toilet.
A product called CLR works wonders and is fast. It's available everywhere from grocery stores, to Lowes and Home Depot.
just do not use bleach...it will chemically bond to the rust.
