Hello, I have had the works get some pretty tough stains out but buy the regular not the basic.
Pour coke cola in it and it will eat it clean
Bottle Coke left in overnight should sort it!
Coke is a great windshield cleaner also. It also makes you wonder what it does to people's stomach.
I have found The Works which I can get at the dollar store is the best for those tough stains like rust etc.
If you have "hard" water vinegar may help. Also borax (like 20 mule team - found in laundry section of the market) pour some in and let it sit a while.
Glaze may be worn off if it's an old toilet therefore nothing you can do. You probably have hard water with lots of lime
