How to get drywall dust out of the hardwood floor grain

We have recently renovated the en-suite bathroom and the drywall and cement dust (silt) has settled into the grain of the hardwood bedroom floor. Our steam cleaner is not the answer. The floor feels gritty and all the grain is a grey colour, really noticeable next to the hallway hardwood floors.

Use a crevice tool and vaccum between the slats. -

Wipe it down with a damp cloth. A microfiber cloth might work best -

A light sanding might work. -

Two cups of white vinegar in a gallon of warm water.Sponge-mop the solution onto a small area of the floor and then dry the area completely with a towel. (Mop should have excess water squeezed out before applying.)Change the water/vinegar solution when it starts to become cloudy. Change towels as they become too damp to dry the floor easily -

First, make sure all of your new bathroom is clean of all dusts. You don't want to keep tracking it back into your bedroom. Then vacuum real good and make sure to use the crevice tool like suggested and I would also use the upholstrey tool also, the brushes might help with the grooves. Them I would use bona cleaner for the whole area.https://us.bona.com/ -
