Hello,
Clean area -improve air circulation and reduce moisture.
I recently discovered some mildew on my garage walls. I cleaned it off with an Bleach bathroom spray and moved things around for better circulation. A dehumidifier might be suggested ifits a significant humidity problem or if a bathroom install an exhaust fan.
Hope this helps.
inside or out?
Vimarhonor offered you good advice, but I would follow using the bleach, with wiping down walls with distilled white vinegar. If the walls are in your basement/garage and are concrete block, neutralize the vinegar with a water rinse, then dry thoroughly. Keep furniture away from walls. Open closet doors on the cabinets for better air circulation. Operate a dehumidifier set no higher than 40% humidity.
Your walls may lack adequate insulation, and your room's heat striking the cold outside walls is resulting in interior condensation and mildew.
You may need a dehumidifier if indoors. Better ventilation is needed. Even a portable fan will work.

Keep the air circulating even if you have a small fan to do that. You may need a dehumidifier especially during hot humid seasonal conditions.
Kill the spores with vinegar. I would suggest you wear a face mask when doing this.
