Dump cornstarch on it (rub just a tiny bit for fabric)) and leave it for at least an hour. Vacuum or brush to see what you’ve got left. Trick is to absorb as much as possible rather than spreading

The best thing I've found for stains is Oxygen Orange, in an orange spray bottle available at Dollar General. Much better than Shout!

Oxiclean and dawn rubbed in, wash in the hottest water possible for the fabric, do not use the dryer until it is completely gone. Good luck!

Rub butter or Crisco (a good dollop) into the stain, then use soap (the bar kind) and get it really jelly, sticky and rub it into the stain on top of the grease. Scrub together hard and use hot water to rinse. This method also gets rid of oil stains in mechanics clothes. The new grease bonds to the old grease and the soap pulls them both out.

I have had luck with Murphy's Oil Soap. It is intended for washing floors and treated wood. But in desperation, I put a big dab on a grease stain. Left it for a couple hours, then pitched it in the wash. Poof! no grease stain. Much better than any product I have tried. Our grocery & hardware stores sell it. Works best with time to saturate.
