All I can think of of is maybe peroxide or rubbing alcohol would fade or remove it. I mean the kinds that you use for first aid.; both are useful on certain fabric stains. Or dish soap, such as Dawn and baking soda. Good luck, I hope you find something that works without damage!
I would make a paste of Comet and slight water, and lay this on this area, just before bedtime, and then let this soak all nite, and see what the results are, in the next morn. Let this have time to work. OK? Best wishes, J.
Look on their website, i would suggest vinegar or baking soda, but those could ruin the finish.
