I make a paste of baking soda and water and scrub until most is removed; then run it through my dishwasher. Stain gone!
try boiling water with cream of tartar-2 tbsp per quart of water, pour into pot and let sit overnight - wash as usual
Cream of tartar is found in the baking aisle, usually with the spices and herbs in little jars and bottles. Besides cleaning surfaces you don’t want to scratch, cream of tartar is also used as a stabilizer with egg whites to make a taller meringue. Cream of tartar is less abrasive than baking soda. ☺️
