Label residue?

There is a product called “Goo Gone” that I like to keep on hand. I’ve never had much luck w vegetable oil as some recommend.

Try alcohol on a cotton ball... I've done this many times before and it works really well

Hello, I use unrefined, cold pressed coconut oil. I get it at the grocery store and am including a pic of it so you know what to look for. It is actually in kind of a solid form til warmed up a little. Just put some on a cloth and rub until it comes off. You can also put it straight on it. It kind of melts the glue.

Orange oil is good, I also take any of my jar labels of by firstly heating label with a heat gun or alternatively your hair drier.... the majority of glue comes off with the label when pulling it off.

Goo gone!! Amazing stuff! I am never without it! You can find it at your local department store and in some grocery stores. Spray it on, and if safe for the item, use a scraper or your fingernail to loosen until gone. Rub all over very well with dishsoap to get rid of the oily residue. Rinse well.

Any product for this purpose (I'm never without Goo Gone). However, common vegetable or olive oil will work too.

Cheap and amazing! Mix 1 Tablespoon of any cooking oil (canola, olive, corn, coconut) and 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda into a paste. Apply to the sticky area and set aside, 15 minutes to overnight while you do something else. Coming back later, use a paper towel to wipe/lift/remove the gunk right off! Wash off the greasy residue with normal dishwashing detergent, rinse and dry! You're welcome! It took me 45 years of struggling to have a crafty 10 year-old teach me this!
