Soak in vinegar
I had clear glass glasses that were foggy. I washed them by hand and the film went away.
You can try soaking them in white vinegar and water. Or try a dishwater additive made to solve this.
how about putting them in with the Tang that folks use to clean their dishwashers
You have minerals in your water. Lemishine from Walmart is citric based and gets our spotlessly clean now! It is also good for the dishwasher to keep it from getting mineral deposits in it. You can find it with the Dishwasher soaps. We use Walmart brand. I used it to run an empty load the first time, then add some in the soap dispenser now with each load.
I use Cascade 10x or 12x pods. Remarkable... got all the "fog" off of my glasses.
Me clean eraser
