Natures Miracle available in Pet Stores.

Any enzyme pet product from the pet store will work. Then clean the spot with vinegar. Dogs and cats don't like the smell of vinegar. Might help.

thanks I will give it a try!
  • Not sure how this would be in wood....If you were able to try this on an inconspicuous area first, this is a skunk smell remedy: sprinkle baking soda on the area; then pour on (or spray) hydrogen peroxide. While it's fizzing, it's working.

I use vinegar. Be careful what you use on your floors. Out! will strip the stain from your floors. I like to clean up any liquid first, use vinegar in a spray bottle with some water, let it sit about 10 minutes, use wipes to be sure to get any remaining or missed urine by getting into the space between boards if possible, then I use "Kids N Pets" spray on the area and wipe up after 5 minutes. Kids N Pets will also deactivate the vinegar smell left over and leaves a fresh scent. It will not harm your wood floors, & it is good for urine on furniture and matresses too. I use full white vinegar first, keep it wet until you can't smell any urine odor, then spray with Kids N Pets on the furniture. Let it dry, this may take a couple of days if the area had a full bladder spill on it. Kids N Pets will not ruin your furniture with dark marks either like some enzymes do.

Hi Debbie, hope this helps you out, Pour the hydrogen peroxide over the stain and then cover it with a clean cloth soaked in hydrogen peroxide. Cover the cloth with plastic wrap, weighting it with a book if necessary. Allow this to sit overnight or for at least 8 hours. The hydrogen peroxide should remove any stains and eliminate the urine odor
