How do I remove laminate from an old wooden picture frame?
There is laminate covering parts of a large picture frame. I would like to know the best way to remove it before I sand and stain it. Thank you.

Could you attach a picture. Usually if laminated it's over low quality wood and staining could be blotchy and never look good.
I would try heating the laminate to loosen the adhesive and then pry it off. A hair dryer on the high setting will do if you don't have a heat gun. Then definitely sand the whole surface to make sure all of the adhesive and gunk is gone and you're down to bare wood.
Cheers!
Thank you! I used a heat gun and gently peeled off what laminate was left. Thanks again, next time I will send pictures before!
