Removing hairspray residue from tinted windows

I bought a van and someone had used hairspray while sitting in the drivers seat. it is on the windows and they were tinted on the inside. How do I get it off without damaging the tint?

try some warm water with a few drops of dish soap. Hair spray washes out when you shampoo...so it is water soluble.

You could also try some rubbing alcohol.
