Do you want to shine tub surface or legs? If it is tub surface. You can refinish pretty easily. Use refinish kit or read directions on kit and prob save $. Surface prep with chemical or sanding, clean and dry, the spray or paint new coating. It is good DIY...don't pay crazy price for pro -

Cast iron will rust ,you will need to clear lacquer to keep moisture away.
