The last time I removed caulk I used a small knife and pliers. Use the tip of the knife to get under the edge of the caulk. Then use the pliers to pull the caulk out. This is time consuming.
Do you mean grout or caulking?
Home Depot and or Lowe's have a tool to remove grout. It is a thin rough edged blade with a handle to scrape the grout out.
