Run a gun of hot water it suck level and put Dawn in as a bubble bath. Let in stand for 15-30 minutes. Then just scrub the tub as usual. Dawn breaks that stuff right down. No need for backbreaking work! -

Make a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar into a paste,apply to the soil areas,use Mr, Clean Magic Eraser to scrub,follow by a bathroom cleaner -

Hi Durbandh, just use Bi Carb of Soda and a soft tooth brush. Mix a little Bi Carb of Soda into a past on a saucer. Apply with a soft tooth brush, rub the soap scum, till it comes off, then rince. You can allso use white vinigar, with the Bi Carb of Soda to, if you wan"t, but that's not necessary. you may need to repeate the process depending on how caked on tne soap scum is.
