If you give up, you can paint it and then seal it.

Use a Steam Cleaner, there really good with this type of job!

This is how I do it: How to Clean Grout

1. Remove surface dirt with hot water and a towel.
2. Mix together ½ cup baking soda, ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide, 1 tsp dish soap.
3. Spoon cleaning agents onto grout and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
