How do I remove polyurethane?
Shortly after installing new kitchen countertops (laminate), I spilled polyurethane in several small areas..any way to remove it? Thanks!

How do I remove a grease stain from my granite countertop?
My husband left a can of cooking spray on the counter and it left a grease ring on my new granite counter top that was recently installed.
Try using Goof Off. Pour some on and use a credit card to scrape and wipe off. Rubbing alcohol may also work. Let the poly soften. Solvents may ruin the laminate.
Razor blade?
Mineral Spirits are the solvent for polyurethane. First, rub a little amount in a hidden area to see if it won't damage the laminate. You can also try to gently scraping it off with a glass scraper. Good luck!
If all else fails, paint stripper.
