How to keep upper neighbors spills from dripping through patio floor?

I live in a condo with sloppy upper neighbors. They spill and it all goes thru the boards down to my patio below. I am on a very limited income, how do I stop this. I have tried talking to them. What can I do?

staple plastic sheeting on the under side of the of the patio floor. Not the window film stuff, the stiffer stuff, -

This may sound tacky, but maybe staple-gun a tarp to the underside of their porch? -

Could you put some slant on that stapled tarp so the liquid runs off the edge instead of pooling up. -

Perhaps you could ask them how you could both workout the problem together they probably would be more willing to put rubber mats on their floor of their patio or linoleum.
