Toothpaste.
Some people think that toothpaste is the solution, but the auto shop teacher at the school I work at said NOT to do that. Instead, go to an auto collision garage, or your dealer, and have them professionally attended to.
Try toothpaste. Just do a little spot test. Let sit for a few min then rub off. Baking soda might work as well make a paste apply let sit and run off then rinse. Remember to do a test spot first. And gently rub.

If it's really bad, I don't think you can do much. Needs a professional. On the other hand, Rain-X puts out a good product that is inexpensive and it works pretty well. Might call for more than one application, but it's worth the effort. I use it on my car headlight covers twice a month and have had good results. Hope this works for you.
Hey using bug spray, the kind with DEET works the best. Spray it on to the headlight and with a dry clean towel wipe it off. You might have to do it at least 2-3 times. Works great! After almost 30 years of working on cars I have found this works the best. I use it on all three of our cars and several friends cars. Most can't believe the result. Hey it, it really works. You will have to redo them in several months but you will saved a lot of $$$$.
Toothpaste. Elbow greese.
Real fine sand paper...like 1500 grit.
It depends on how bad it is. If it's moderate, any of the wipes will work well. For more severe discoloration, you should use on the kits. Both area available at any auto parts store.
I've used a mixture of Vinegar and dawn on mine. Gently scrub with toothbruah
