See if you can figure out where the musty smell is coming from, carpets, seats, rugs, floor mats, roof? Then treat that are for the musty problem. Cleaning the areas well with vinegar water solution will kill the spores that are the source of the smell. Be careful to not saturate anything, you want a quick hit and dry, lots of fresh air and sunlight.

A musty smell would only come from fabric. Metal and plastic will not hold onto that odor if it is just washed off. It has to be carpet or seats that got wet. https://www.lifewire.com/reasons-your-car-stinks-534676
