Soap dispenser door broken. Been throwing a pod in bottom of washer and seems to be working (as long as they haven’t had caked on food)

Hi Loretta! Absolutely you can. Just take the amount of d/w detergent you would normally use and add enough vinegar to moisten it to form into balls or place in old ice cube tray or some other receptacle to "form" the tabs. Let dry and then package for use by using an old plastic container w/lid of some sort. Then you can just pop a tab in the bottom of your d/w when you're ready to do a load.

I've also added a link here that has a recipe for making your own d/w detergent that is easy and cheap. I haven't tried it just yet, but when I run out of my current tabs, I'm going to give it a try as I love doing homemade inexpensive stuff to save some bucks and make "Taylor-mades". :)
