Purchased a dishwasher "as-is" there is glue from a label that looks like melted plastic wrap. How can I remove it?

Just dab any thing of an oily substance, that will lose the glue. Then rub with a soft cloth.

Eucalyptus will do the trick, eucalyptus is not actually oil it is an essence and will not stain. Smells good as well.

I use any kind of oil to remove sticky, sticker residue or tape residue. Let it soak in over night if possible. For something that can not be laid down to let it soak in, I use natural peanut butter, the kind you have to stir to use. The oil dissolves the residue and then use dishsoap and water to clean it off the next day.

Goo Gone, OOPS solvent, or WD 40 should work. If you can't lay it down, tape some plastic wrap over the label after you soak it. Let it sit overnight.

Rub on baby oil and work it in nicely, let it soak for a while and scrub off.
