How can I remove contact paper, including all of the sticky residue?

Warm it up with a blow dryer to soften the adhesive and peel it off by hand and putty knife. The adhesive residue can be removed with Goo Gone.
I agree with William. Use your hair drier to heat the adhesive under the contact paper. It should come off easily. You can also use WD40 to remove any residue.
Goo gone is a great product to remove sticky residue once your have removed the vinyl. A little heat from your hairdryer should help in softening the glue to peel off the paper then use goo-gone as per instructions.
