I like my Roomba vacuum. It really help with shedding
Vickie: I find using a rubber palm/fingers gardening glove works well to corral lint and dog hair.
We have a wolf/hybrid dog who sheds terribly b/c he has a thick undercoat. We brush (and he loves it) but in the summer hair is everywhere! is there any recommendations for this issue?
A slightly damp rubber glove on your hand will pick up a lot of the hair.
Hi Vickie: I have a cat who has long black hair and I have cream coloured carpeting. Got the carpet before the cat:) I can't believe that cat's not bald with the amount of hair he leaves around. I use a moist cloth, like a wash rag, and wrap it around my hand and brush the hair off. You can use a rubber glove, too. Also, for my carpeting, I have a cheap small vacuum cleaner, it's only about 12" wide, but it gets the fur off of the rug better than my big heavy vacuums, which don't do anything about picking the fur up. I even got a new roller brush, but the Eureka Optima does the job great. But, for furniture, I'd use a moist cloth or a rubber glove. Good luck

Brush your pet frequently to remove excess hair, if on the furniture use a rubber glove, just rub it on the areas with the pet hair.
From cloth and furniture, the best thing I have ever used is a rubber brush.
My husband mocked this purchase but I LOVE it. https://www.chewy.com/as-seen-on-tv-true-touch-five-finger/dp/135133?utm_source=partnerize&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_campaign=1011l37387&utm_content=0
