Take them down and wash them with garden hose and a soft bristle brush. Rinse with clean water and put them in the sun to dry.
Good advice from Cindy! Be careful to not use a focused hose tip, it can cause lines where the dust/dirt was blasted off.
My husband uses windex outdoor spray that hooks right to the hose. He leaves the screens on the windows and just sprays them really good. Clean screens and windows. We live very near the beach and the ocean air can make it the dirt and sand in the air stick to the windows and screens.
