How do I clean window fly screens that can not be removed?

  • I would use a soft brush and soapy water. Then wipe it clean with a rag.

It depends on what type of screen you have. If they are the fiberglass type you will need to take great care so as not to tear it, or pull it loose from the frame. For these I would think a sponge with soap and water would do the trick. If you have the aluminum type, you can do it the same way, or perhaps with a garden hose. Just be sure the window is closed, and you don’t use a lot of water pressure.

Thanks Zard, tried all that but the dust appears very greasy, probably from the gum trees. The screen doors clean ok with a pressure cleaner, but I can remove them.
