How to organize my crafts room?
-
Toni Johnson on Aug 25, 2016I feel your pain. I have a craft room that's a nightmare right now. I bought 2 plastic dressers with 4 drawers each, a smaller plastic one with 6 drawers for brads and other small embellishments and tried to organize some things, but I have so much that even that didn't help. I have a closet full of paper, a filing cabinet full of paper, and a box with all of the scraps I was sure to use at some point (rolling eyes) I have many plastic bins to separate out my wood handled rubber stamps, and a CD turn style holder with all of my acrylic stamps. Another turn style holder for my inks...it's in sane, I think I have a problem. I Wish I had an answer for you, but I hope some ideas are thrown out for you. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Cathydp464 on Aug 25, 2016I just got through (for now...) organizing my sewing/craft studio after letting it be wreck for 5 years, at least. I started with rolling , clear drawer units, I stacked them in pairs (you can snap off the flat top to add 2nd one on top) for my fabric stash. Small parts, ie, beads, sequins, etc went into small clear divided parts boxes from the hardware store and stacked them on shelves. Tools and packaged items went on a pegboard (again, the hardware store) using different types of hooks. Mine is 4' x 6' because of all my quilting rulers, cone thread, re thread, and lots of misc notions. next was clear 3 drawer units that roll under my table. Finally, I put a shoe organizer with clear pockets on the outside of the closet door near my chair to put frequently used items in.Helpful Reply
