I know you can use creme rinse to untangle it.

You can use diluted fabric softener or hair detangler.

Take a small spray bottle, add 2 tablespoons fabric softener and fill with water. Spray on doll hair and comb out.

Use Moroccon Oil in your shampoo or rub through air after you wash, but not too much a Lonnie size in your hand. Good Luck
