Today I'm going to share with you a simple and easy Easter/Spring Basket with Daffodils (March flower of the the month) using humble Dollar Tree items and some recycled items around your house! Its appropriate to decorate your home for Spring as a centerpiece! icon

This is the Dollar Tree Easter/Spring Basket we are going to make. icon

First of all, I got this Easter basket from Dollar Tree's Easter seasonal section.

And this brown acrylic paint is also from Dollar Tree.

Then, I painted 2 coats of brown acrylic paint on the basket. And let it dry intermittently.

While the paint on the basket is drying, I started working on the faux twiner! icon

For this, I used one spray bottle, brown packaging paper and school glue.

So, I took 1/4 cup of water and 20-25 drops of school glue in it.

After, adding the school glue to the water, I shook the bottle to mix water and glue well!

Next, I sprayed the water glue mixture on to the brown packaging paper.

Then, I started rolling the paper slowly. And was spraying water glue mixture intermittently and kept on rolling as shown.

After, the brown paper is rolled up and dried well, it gets the look of the twiner. Doesn't this look like faux twiner already?! icon

Next, I started attaching one end of this faux twiner to the inner part of the basket using hot glue.

Then, I worked my way to circulate the faux twiner around the basket and stuck using hot glue. And later, stuck floral moss here and there on the basket!

Then, I filled the basket with brown packaging paper and I stuck few beautiful huge green faux leaves around the basket using hot glue.

Then, I stuck 2 huge Daffodil flowers(from Dollar Tree) on one side of the handle using hot glue as shown.

Later, I filled all the Daffodils flowers(big and small), fern leaves and long flat leaves and stuck with hot glue.

The brown paint and faux twiner with all those bright and beautiful Daffodils, lush greenery with floral moss here and there has turned the basket to look high-end and store bought!

And I decorated it with moss bunny and moss egg to give enchanted magical forest vibes! (full tutorial on moss egg and moss bunny is on my YouTube channel Sun's Arts)

I'm extremely happy with the final result of this beautiful Easter/Spring basket! icon

What a transformation. And using things that are available. I’m reluctant to put money out for twine this gives a doable alternative
