  just take a cardboard box - cut holes in top and sides for cat to get in - put old towel inside for warmth, comfort

Take a plastic storage box with a lid.turn upside down.
Cut a hole in narrow end of storage tub.Place hay or shredded paper on bottom . When you need to clean pull top off lid (which serves as floor). Replace it clean.
