Here are some instructions on what a man did to make his catio from a 10' pallet plus some more lumber to frame it. There are many styles of catios based on what you need and how many kitties you have, sounds like a fun project:
First decide how large a catio you wish to build, then gather as many pallets as neeeded for the project. You can also incorporate wire fencing into the scheme to give a more open feel to the catio.
That’s tuff you could build a box you need something for the floor then fram it out then you need chicken wire so they can’t get out and don’t forget a door
We built one out of scrap wood. We made the frame to fill the whole window - so we could remove the screen and bugs wouldn’t get it. Then we made another box the same size. We attached a top and bottom between the two frames and wrapped it all with screening. It works great!
