Wreaths, pumpkins, etc. Check your local craft store - they're probably all on sale right now!
My husband was trimming our wisteria, this morning and I just grabbed a bunch of it, shaped it, trimmed it some more and stuck it in antique sugar bowl and put it in our sitting room It is a treat at this time of year to have some greenery around. I also usually have a big bowl of apples and oranges and also stick squashes in it. I made this decoration in less than 1/2 hour the other day (saw it on my nieces FB page) I have the ferns, had the squash and found the pressed flower in my dictionary. Just some good old Elmers and it was all set!

Bring the outside in....for Fall decorating. Scan areas for branches, tree bark, pine cones, dried grasses, weed/flower stems, leaves, nuts of all kinds, rocks, dried flowers, gourds, pumpkins (all sizes). Place a faux bird here and there. Place items loosely on tables or place in bowls and baskets. Use florist styrofoam or green clay to hold arrangements. Fill in with straw or raffia. Use rustic wood or painted wood or cardboard boxes (all sizes). Enjoy the season!
Get a clear glass tall bowl or canning jar or flower vase. Fill with any of the following altering the colors. Use coffee beans, white or brown rice--uncooked, noodles, chocolate or pumpkin or white chocolate chips. Use your imagine I have used a variety if different colors of nuts or seeds even from acorn trees. You could use a glass coffee cup or beer stein or even wine glass.
I have given items away as gifts using team colors using M&M mixed or separate colors then tie a bow.
I have also put stems of leaves real or artificial in the flower vase. This would look good on a table with leaves, pine cones or small pumpkins or squash.
Take a wire cage for tomatoes to grow on, and tie the top wires together so you have a frame that looks like a tent.
Stick the bottom wires down in a flower pot type container, that has floral foam in it.
Then get 3- 4 autumn leaf garlands (dollar store) and wrap those around the wire frame. You can hot glue areas that you want to stay put.
Add little white string lights! Beautiful!
