Hello Jackiehays1947 ;) When decorating your porch for fall you can use almost anything you happen to have on hand: colored leaves in open baskets or plastic bags, topped with some small pumpkins or gourds that you have decorated with paint and small glue on or nailed into pieces of wood (twigs, pieces of branches, etc). Stuff an old long sleeved shirt and worn out pair of pants with the leaves (pin or sew the ends of the sleeves shut and put the closed ends of the pants into some shoes or boots) and sit it on your porch leaning against your railing or wall. Top it with a pumpkin head wearing a ball cap or straw hat. Cut out forms of black cats and bats from construction paper and tape to your windows. You culd even lean your "person" against your container of leaves like he is exhausted, and have the rake or a broom resting in its folded arms. You can make a wreath for your front door with items from the Dollar Store. They even sell the wreath form. You could decorate it with things like ribbon, picks, flowers, etc. Set a pumpkin on your porch and include a few potted mums as well. I hope this helps you. Good luck.
