I saw giant candy canes made from pool noodles. Using small rounded food containers, you could paint and and cover with rock salt to make gumdrop covers for string lights. You can paint heavy paper plates to look like peppermint candies and wrap them in cellophane or plastic. You could wrap bright colored pillows to create giant candies too. Cardboard can be used to create giant gingerbread people, chocolate bars, etc. Big glass containers filled with candy, peppermint sticks, gummy bears, etc. If you want to go crazy...get some bright colored carpet tiles or squares to make your gameboard on the floor or even up over the walls! Sounds very fun!
I love all the ideas I have read, but one more I might add, gingerbread men from painted cardboard would be darling theme for your Christmas tree, as well as candy canes, giant candies painted on cardboard, and all hung with red ribbon would be darling. Lamps could be made to look like candy or get a clear lamp base and fill it with candies, You have a very creative idea, hope it goes well . Post a photo of it when you finish to show us?
