How can I make ornaments out of Christmas cards?

What are patterns or ideas for ornaments made of xmas cards? I have a three dimensional ornament with crocheted edges connecting the pieces. Any other ideas? Thx.

Cut 6 or eight heart or rounds out of the Christmas cards. Make sure they are equally the same. Fold in half, then glue each together half a side . It's easier to fold one with rightsides together, then glue the top half adding the next folded shape to that and continue until all shapes are used. Add ribbon to centre before bringing the first and the last half together.
Michaels and other craft stores sell some great blank, flat ceramic ornaments that you can often times find at 50% off that would look great with a card decoupaged onto it.
