How can I cut perfect 45* angles for frames

    If you want to do it by hand... use a miter box and a small hand saw

    I agree with Marty. A miter box & a hand saw are definitely the way to go if you don't want to buy an expensive table saw that will do any angle. That's really overkill for a frame. :) Wishing you the best.

    I agree with the above comments. A miter box is the way to go. FYI, if you don't want to fuss with cutting angles, you could put straight molding on all four sides and finish corners with rosettes.

    If you really want a "perfect" 45* angle, you may want to have a professional Picture Framer cut your frame. They have the expensive equipment to do it exactly. If you are not so fussy you can try using a chop saw which is what carpenters use do do trim work. A miter/box saw will also cut it, but it won't be perfect.

    Use a small miter box. You can purchase at any place they sell hardware.
