Depending how deep you want it, I have taken regular picture frames and added 1x1” ( or wider like 1x2”) trim around the back and added a wood back cut to size. The wood back can be left as is, chalk painted or covered in fabric or wall paper or even use a mirror or glass as backgrounds.
