Use command hooks
Just because you live in an apartment does not mean you can't decorate. Use wig pins to hang your pictures/art pieces. You can buy them at a beauty supply store and they work great. They make extremely small holes but will hold large pictures. I have used them many, many years. If you feel you must use something heavier, you can always "patch" the hole with a mixture of Bayer aspirin with a little water. Make it a paste and push into the hole. The "patch" will absorb the color of the paint as it dries. NOTE: Must use Bayer, non coated aspirin. Others do not work as well.
Can you lean pictures up on a buffet table, mantel of such? How about smaller pictures on holders on tables?
If you have crown molding near ceiling, secure lengths of wire with a few nails and then you can make a hanging rail, of bamboo or poly plumbers piping. Then you can hang your artwork from ribbons or wire. When you move, you’ve only a few holes in molding to fill and paint.
all good ideas. I’m going to try them all. Thank you so much. Just moved in last week so still a work in progress
You can use Command brand hooks that do not damage walls or paint. They come in many different sizes depending on the weight you are hanging and also in different finishes.
Just an example, you could prop on a dresser, or other type of table.
