suspend a drape from the ceiling

Hang a curtain on a tension rod.
A curtain on a tension rod is one idea.... here is another one.... Mount a beam on from the wall with the TV to the other wall... then install a track or rail system for a sliding barn door.... put it in the right place and it can slide open behind the TV
If there is enough room on the left side wall when you enter that space, you could hang either a barn door or a shoji screen. I would first install a 2-6" header using joist hangers in that opening up where you want your door 1x4" wooden trim to fasten too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf4_X7egB20&t=56s
shoji screen.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2FjAMd8FXM you can also make a shoji screen, I used translucent fiberglass cloth from Tap Plastics but you can also use rice paper.

The simple answer would be to put up a drape double lined with a tension rod up high by the edge of the wall with the clock on it. Use a cute curtain pull on the side to pull curtain back when not in use. It will not completely eliminate the sound only a wall could do that, but it will definitely help.
Thank you, actually I did think of that. I’m going have to get a really long drape. How about beads LOL😎
Put a door up.
Fix a Sliding door to go from wall left side of picture.
