The burner wick assembly says Gerbruder Brunner 1881. I really want to know about it but can't find anything similar on internet for comparison. Maker? Origin?

Check Kovels antique book, you can get at your local library. If not take it to a reputable antique dealer. It's beautiful, what I can see of it. Good Luck!Helpful Reply -

The maker appears to be Austrian. Most of the marks on the burner referenced " Wien" after Gerbruder Brunner. I could not find any pictures of your lamp online but of the pictures I found none compare to the beauty you have. If you have no luck I would contact an auction house like Sothebys and send them pictures including the marks on the burner.Helpful Reply -

It is Austrian. Unable to find anything similar. Action houses in the U.S, Great Britain, Australia, and Europe have some ranging from $300 to $600. Yours would be more in the upper bracket as it is more elaborate, highly decorated, and intact. I would find a high end auction house or even check out Antique Roadshow website. They have a list of appraiser you may be able to contact.Helpful Reply -
