Can I safely dye my white fabric bar stools

I want to be sure that the color will not come off on people’s clothing. If this is possible wha are the products and procedures needed to accomplish thIs.

The trick to dying or painting fabric is that it needs to be very clean. Doing a solid color can be difficult because the fabric will "grab" the paint or dye differently in places. I suggest you practice on inexpensive fabric before tackling these gorgeous chairs. Once you have the technique down, you can then begin on these chairs. I'm not sure what you could use since they are upholstered, but they are Beautiful as they are... That's just my opinion I have been looking for stools just like those. :) -

I recently found a new product (new to me lol!) that I think would work perfectly for you after dying the fabric. Spray with Rustolum NeverWet® Fabric Spray. If it keeps rain off cushions, it should keep the fabric dye inside!
