How do I make crafts with sea shells?

I've played with sea shells for decades. Some projects I've done are : lampshades covered with shells, lamp bases filled with seashells, windchimes, mirror frames, candle holders, etc. I have several odd glass containers full of them, a tall chemist's bottle with a glass top, filled with shells and water. I found a square glass canister that I filled and placed in a window. Outside during summer, we have a large tray of shells and rocks on a bed of sand outside for exploring. Shells do not work well on stepping stones !
