Bigger the better! Choose something that coordinates with your decor style. If you can, use an LED bulb in any hallway lighting you have.
I would get a large bathroom mirror and a set of mirror clips (clear) and mount directly to the wall. You can always get a large framed mirror or build a wood frame to cover the edges or the mirror and make it look like an expensive mirror.
Smaller, narrower frames and large mirrors reflecting light. Or paint the larger frames with gold or another luminous metallic to reflect the light of a sparkling light fixture . When the eye sees an interesting expanse, it will look larger. Please post your project with photos on Hometalk! I can’t wait to see your design. Jewell
If you place the mirrors at a height that will reflect light coming from any light fixtures, this will help brighten and 'open up' the hallway, making it seem larger.
You could hang a variety of different sized mirrors or even get those flat stick on mirror squares.
