Can you provide more info? Do you want to decorate it or learn how to make "hospital corners" when making the bed?
Are you speaking of the linens? If so, this is how I was taught by my mother. She would inspect it every Saturday (sheet change day) and make me re-do it if it wasn't up to her standards.
Fitted sheet must be pulled right in all directions.
Flat sheet is folded in half lengthwise, inside out, to determine the exact middle. Lay it on one side of the bed to the middle an unfold. Bring the top of the sheet to the top of the mattress. Tuck the entire bottom of the sheet underneath the mattress. On each side at the bottom, pull up a the sheet to form a triangle that is then tucked under the bed (this is known as a hospital corner).
If you have a blanket or quilt, lay it on the bed as the flat sheet and mimic everything except the hospital corners.
Comforter is folded in half as is the sheet to determine the middle. Lay on the bed and smooth. Check for even measurement all the way around. If it isn't long enough to cover the mattress at the foot of the bed, pull to cover and use pillows to cover the gap at the head.
Pillows are then placed at the head of the bed with decorative pillows laid on top of them. If your comforter isn't long enough to cover your pillows completely, lay them on top of the comforter.
If you have a bed spread, fold it down to allow the pillows on the head of the bed with a slight tuck then pull over the pillows.
Are you talking about making your bedroom look like a designer did it?
I finally discovered that comforters should be a size larger than the mattress size. My guest bed is full size so I bought a queen comforter. It hangs beautifully now. By the time you get the mattress pad, sheets and blanket on the bed the comforter is too short all way around. That applies to queen size bed, go with king comforter.
