How can you make an easy DIY lampshade?

The lamp is an Eagle. The Eagle is approximately 18 inches tall and the décor in the room is American Indian with a lot of dream catchers.

Do you need to make a shade from scratch? Or does it have an existing shade you want to redecorate? NEVER did this, but I have a similar problem..My thoughts are to get a flexible, PLASTIC, LARGE white cutting board and somehow configure the shade from a retread shade from another lamp IF there is one available...perhaps a cheap shade might be available from Good Will or some such place. If you are a great DIYer/crafter..perhaps you can use TWO Large plastic cutting boards. These are only THOUGHTS for you dilemma. I have a LOT of thoughts but they don't translate into action, so I can't tell you it would work..Maybe it's worth the try?? Good luck. -
