Hi Kathy,
Measure and Cut 2 x the size of front and back + Seam allowance. Measure and cut fabric the width of the body and sides of Toaster + seam allowance (Long Strip). Join Fabric together right sides facing ( running the strip of fabric around the shape of the toaster front and repeat with the rear shape. You should have a cover if turned right sides out either trim bottom edge with a contrast binding or add a lining made in the same way, but left roughside uppermost and use trim or binding to join both pieces. Enjoy the process. If concerned, make lining first to check for fit......Enjoy.................
clean the toaster. lay it on its side on a piece of news print. draw around it to get its basic shape. then get out a tape measure...determine how wide the toaster is. Remember to add your seam allowance and hem to the 3 pieces. pin and sew.
Kathy: I hope this video will help! Good luck! Have fun! (Maybe change it out with the seasons!)
