How many yards of material to make a King size quilt top

I want to make a Double Wedding Ring quilt for my daughter and I want to know how much material for the quilt back and about how much for the quilt top. I know it will differ a little, but someone told me 37 yards at least, is this so?

a king bed is generally 80 by 84. You can then add whatever you would like to for the fall off on the sides. The amount of material you would need would then depend on the width of the materials.
King beds are 80 by 80. (6/6)The 80 by 84 is a California king. You best bet is to measure the bed.
