How to hang a barn quilt on a brick house

MN Mom on May 24, 2016Depending on how much it weighs, you could try Command Hooks by 3M for a temporary fix. For a permanent display, you should get a masonry drill and attach it to the brick with screws.Helpful Reply

Sally on May 25, 2016It depends upon the size and location of your Barn Quilt. If you are installing it on a house, fence or even a barn: hoist your barn quilt into position resting it on the 2" x 4" already mounted on the barn. Put enough 2" screws through the bottom of the plywood to hold it to the 2" x 4". Put 2 to 3 long screws (5-6") through the top of the quilt to secure it to the barnHelpful Reply

Johnchip on May 25, 2016? If I were doing a quilt hanging, I would put it on a dowel rod or wood strip then let that hang by a couple and eyes of hook and eyes from a couple concrete/masonry nails hammered into the mortar between the bricks.Helpful Reply
